New Class

Overview

This is a new class starting in September that is designed for beginners. So if you haven’t done yoga before this class could be for you. Most classes are run for mixed abilities, so if you find the idea of joining a group like that, a step too far, why not consider this beginners only? This class will run for six consecutive weeks, and cost £10 per session, payable at the time of the session.

What exactly is yoga? Well it’s a unique system of exercises, including breathing, stretching, strengthening and balance. It helps to tone muscles, and develop or maintain strength and flexibility, as well as working tension out of the body. This improves the ability to relax deeply at the end of any session, which is beneficial to everyone. You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga.

The start date is Thursday 13th September, the time is 10 am and the class will be for 1.15 hours.

It will run for six consecutive weeks, and the same postures will be repeated weekly. Every class will start with some simple warm ups, continuing with some basic yoga postures, and finishing with a relaxation. I will provide yoga mats, although if you have your own please bring it. Wear something comfortable that you can stretch and work out in. Yoga classes are done in bare feet.
